RYAN KIRBY

Ryan Kirby began dancing at the age of 6. Training until he graduated school in his hometown of South Carolina. After graduation, he worked as a company director and has won numerous choreography awards including national first overalls and FDC awards. After directing for 2 years, Ryan decided to pursue his dream of dancing professionally and moved to Los Angeles, California. After moving, Ryan worked on Glee, toured the country with Macy's passport and on the 2015 Pentatonix tour, worked on a Toyota commercial, and on several music videos and industrials. He also taught at IDA (international dance academy) in Hollywood, and EVOLVE dance intensives as faculty. Ryan returned to his home of Greenville in 2018 and has been teaching and traveling since. We are excited to welcome him to the B-viBe Dance Family as a part time staff member during his residencies.

KIRSTEN BROWN

Kirsten Brown began her dance journey at the age of 2 in Archdale NC, where she trained in all styles of dance. She spent 13 years competing locally and nationally, winning several top awards. Kirsten has trained in New York City at Broadway Dance Center, Los Angeles at Edge PAC and Millennium Dance Complex. Kirsten is studying nursing at Davidson davie community college, With her degree she plans on working in Pediatric Oncology. She was also Bethany’s student for many years and was part of the first graduating class of b-vibe.

KATIE LOVEJOY

Katie Lovejoy was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she began her dance journey at the age of 4 years old. At the age of 9 she started her competitive dance career learning genres of lyrical, tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and ballet. She continued to compete through the end of high school winning many different awards and titles, during this time she was also training at the University North Carolina School of The Arts. She continued to develop herself as an artist throughout the high school and college program at UNCSA, earning her Bachelors in Fine Arts degree in Ballet. She has performed lead roles in productions such as The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, Les Sylphides, Concerto Barocco, Serenade, and more. During this time, she trained with many artists from all around the world and she says this is one of her favorite things about her dance journey. She looks forward to continuing her growth as an artist while sharing her knowledge with younger aspiring dancers!

DUSTIN HALL

Dustin hall is currently teaching tap and ballroom dancing in the triad area. he grew up with tap dancing being his primary focus as well as having additional opportunities to train in other areas. dustin picked up ballroom dancing at the age of 19 and has competed both pro am and professionally. he is currently teaching at B-vibe and best of ballroom in Winston Salem.

BETHANY SWEENEY

Bethany has had a passion for dance her entire life, it drives her to be the best she can be. Her work has been recognized nationally through various choreography awards as well as her own dance career appearing on the show So You Think You Can Dance and dance scholarships to some of the biggest dance schools in the country. Her goal is to build her students to their full potential as dancers and as people everyday she walks in a studio.
